As Chairman and Group CEO of GFB Group, he has over 25 years progressive managerial in multinational large organizations, including: Healthcare, Public Sector, Banking and Telecom and served as a CIO for over 12 years in Banking, Telecom and Public Sector, taking senior management positions for over 18 years.
Mr. Ahmed has entrepreneur vision with a strong focus on strategy development and deployment, strategic planning, budgeting, finance and corporate business execution.
He has an excellent track record of large scale technology and development project and extremely energetic, committed to solving complex problems in fast paced environments.
He is passionate about team building and people management skills, with extraordinary leadership and managerial competencies.
Mr. Ahmed is a holder of Executive MBA from DePaul University, Chicago IL, USA.
He is currently a Board Member of Bahrain Telecom Company (BATELCO).
